Getting to Jeju Parnas Hotel (From Jeju International Airport, CJU)

1) Flights to Jeju (CJU)

Jeju International Airport (CJU) is the main gateway to Jeju Island.

Most international visitors first arrive in Seoul (Incheon), then take a domestic flight to Jeju. The majority of international flights arrive at Incheon International Airport (ICN). A limited number of routes from Japan operate directly to Gimpo Airport (GMP).

There are two main airports in Seoul:

  • Incheon International Airport (ICN) – Main international airport
  • Gimpo International Airport (GMP) – Main domestic airport (most Jeju flights depart from here)

Important: Transferring Between ICN and GMP

ICN and GMP are located approximately 35–45 km apart, and transfer time typically ranges from 45 to 90 minutes, depending on traffic and time of day.

If you arrive at ICN and your Jeju flight departs from GMP, please allow sufficient transfer time (we recommend at least 3–4 hours between flights).

Transportation Options Between ICN and GMP

Option A — Airport Railroad (AREX + Metro Connection)

  • Take the AREX Airport Railroad from ICN
  • Transfer at Gimpo Airport Station (direct connection available)
  • Total travel time: approximately 45–60 minutes
  • This is the most reliable option during peak traffic hours

Option B — Airport Limousine Bus

  • Direct airport limousine buses operate between ICN and GMP
  • Travel time: approximately 60–90 minutes, depending on traffic
  • Buses depart regularly from ICN arrivals level
  • Suitable if you have heavy luggage

Option C — Taxi

  • Travel time: approximately 45–70 minutes, depending on traffic
  • Estimated fare: KRW 40,000 – 60,000
  • Most convenient for late-night arrivals

Note:
There are also direct domestic flights from ICN to Jeju (CJU), but they operate less frequently than flights from GMP. Many travelers transfer to GMP for greater scheduling flexibility.

Direct International Flights to Jeju (CJU)

Jeju also operates selected direct international routes, including from major cities in China (subject to seasonal schedules).

Examples include:

  • Beijing
  • Shanghai
  • (Seasonally) Hangzhou, Nanjing, Guangzhou, and others
